- Cost
- $$$
- When to go
- Early evening on a weeknight, when conversation still wins over the crowd
- Address
- Iztaccihuatl 36D, Condesa
Baltra is the neighborhood’s grown-up cocktail room: a few dozen seats, botanical wallpaper, a Galápagos theme worn lightly, and a bar team with an international reputation working through a menu that changes with the seasons.
Reserve ahead for weekend evenings or arrive at opening. It pairs naturally with dinner in Condesa — the bar is the aperitif and the nightcap both.
Getting there
A quiet block off Parque México — walkable from anywhere in Condesa, a short rideshare from Roma Norte.
If you are recovering
Cocktails are the entire point here, so this belongs on the before-surgery or return-trip list if you are avoiding alcohol. It is, at least, a seated and civilized way to have a night out: small room, table service, no dancing, done by midnight if you want to be.
Activity levels and recovery notes are general guidance about logistics, not medical advice. Follow your care team’s instructions.
