Roma Norte

Roma Norte is a leafy, walkable neighborhood of early-1900s architecture, cafés, and tree-lined streets east of Condesa. It is popular with international visitors who want an apartment or boutique hotel rather than a chain, and its central position keeps most clinic districts within a 20–30 minute ride.

Getting there and around

The airport run takes 25–50 minutes by authorized taxi or rideshare. Metrobús Line 1 runs along Insurgentes on the neighborhood’s western edge, and Metro Insurgentes (Line 1) sits at the north end. The flat grid and wide sidewalks make short post-appointment walks easy; Álvaro Obregón is the central spine with pharmacies and convenience stores along it.

Staying nearby

Expect boutique hotels, serviced apartments, and a deep pool of short-term rentals. Food options range from street stalls to quiet restaurants suited to restricted post-procedure diets. Nights on the main corridors can be lively; if you want quiet during recovery, choose a room on the smaller east–west streets.
