Santa Fe

Santa Fe is the modern high-rise business district on the city’s western edge. It looks and functions like a North American office-and-mall corridor: large hotels, a major shopping center, and hospital campuses with private-room towers. Patients treated at a Santa Fe hospital often stay here to keep the commute to appointments short.

Getting there and around

The district is far from the airport — plan 45–90 minutes by authorized taxi or rideshare depending on traffic, and avoid scheduling arrival-day appointments. Santa Fe is not served by the Metro and distances between buildings are long, so rideshares are the practical way around; hotels can arrange drivers for repeat clinic runs.

Staying nearby

Hotels are mostly business-class towers with reliable elevators, room service, and accessible rooms — useful after orthopedic or bariatric procedures. The Centro Santa Fe mall covers pharmacies, groceries, and food courts under one roof. Trade-off: outside the hospitals and hotels there is little to walk to, and evening options are limited compared with the central neighborhoods.
